Advantages of Selecting Skills from the Skills Matrix Employers searching for specific skills are more likely to find a resume that includes skills from the Skills Matrix. Skills that can't fit on a traditional resume can still be included. Resumes that include industry-specific skills stand out because they can be searched easily. The Skills Matrix includes both general and specific skills that are often forgotten in traditional resumes. Expertise levels may be indicated for each skill.
